PayPal provides good security and is one of the oldest providers of electronic giving. It is reliable, trusted and there is no charge to Vandelia (other than the fee explained below). Vandelia does not pay to have a PayPal account. Instead there is a fee charged for each donation, which is subtracted from the gift. The fee is 2.9% of your gift plus $0.30. So, if you gave $100, Vandelia will receive $96.80. This is $100 minus the $2.90 (2.9% of $100) plus $0.30 for a total fee of $3.20.
